A Very Brief History of Conan Comic Books

Episode #4

EPISODE NOTES:

In 1970, Marvel Comics obtained the license to publish comic books featuring Robert E. Howard's sword-wielding barbarian, Conan.

Soon, Conan the Barbarian would become one of Marvel's most popular comics of the 70's, setting the character on the path of quickly becoming a pop culture icon.

Join me as I talk about how Conan came to Marvel and just basically throw a bunch of information at you.

Enjoy!

Hither Came Conan
Hither Came Conan is the podcast where I read the original Robert E. Howard Conan stories, along with the various comic book adaptations, comparing and contrasting the two, and hopefully learning a little something about myself along the way.
Episodes release monthly.
